Fragrance of Asia 2026 — Malaysia
A Home-Ground Chapter
Taking part in Fragrance of Asia 2026 was an important moment for Maison D. Azeez because it happened at home.
Malaysia is where the house was built.
It is where the fragrances are conceived, formulated and made, and where many of the people, places and memories behind the collection come from.
Fragrance is also something that needs to be experienced in person.
A photograph can introduce a bottle.
Words can explain an idea.
But eventually, someone has to smell the perfume.
Events like Fragrance of Asia create space for that.
People could take their time with the collection, compare fragrances, ask questions and return to compositions that stayed with them.
For an independent perfumery house, those conversations are valuable.
They also gave us an opportunity to present Maison D. Azeez for what it is: an original Malaysian perfumery house creating its own compositions rather than simply placing a Malaysian name around someone else’s work.
That distinction has always mattered to us.
Fragrance of Asia became another chance to share that work with the wider fragrance community.
And it felt right that one of the important chapters of 2026 happened here.
