A Year of Recognition
2025
By 2025, Maison D. Azeez was still a young independent house.
The focus remained on the work itself — developing the fragrances, improving the compositions and continuing to build the Private Blend Collection.
That year, the work started receiving recognition beyond the people who already knew the Maison.
Ethereal Mantin received the APF Emerging Perfumer Award 2025.
Classy Rompin became a finalist in the Asia Perfume Awards 2025 Niche Brand category.
Both moments meant a great deal to me.
Awards were never the reason I started creating perfume, and they did not suddenly make the work feel finished.
What they did give me was perspective.
Fragrances built from very personal stories, independently created in Malaysia, could still communicate with people who had no connection to those stories beforehand.
That mattered.
It gave me another reason to keep pushing the work further.
There were still more materials to understand, more ideas to explore and many things I knew I could improve.
But 2025 became an important marker in the journey.
Maison D. Azeez was beginning to find an audience beyond home.
